So basically, I'm a teenage girl that enjoys waxing philosophical, reading in bookstore aisles, dancing for no apparent reason, and hugs. I live in a cow town, and I long for the freedom of the big city and of the open woods in one, so basically I'll never be satisfied with wherever I end up living. I could also go on writing about myself for ages (as evidence by a six-page response to the prompt "brief autobiography" on a recent scholarship. Which was possibly one of the cleverest scholarship essays I've ever written) and would likely go off on far too many tangential asides, none of which a random stranger on the internet (or a not-so-random stalker, you know who you are) would particularly care about. So I'll leave it here.

What does everybody want their second semester of senior year, the time when you should be relaxing and basking in that "I'm almost done" sense? If you answered endless doctor and hospital visits, swollen bruises, arthritis, abdominal pain, and possible kidney failure, I'll gladly change lives with you. On the one hand, I'm kind of impressed with myself, managing to come down with a rare disease that's supposed to target young boys when I'm a 17 year old girl. Only I could pull a stunt like that.
